Attendees are registering for the National Association of Purchasing Card Professionals’ (NAPCP) 13th Annual Conference (http://www.napcp.org/2012) to gain an understanding of today’s buy-to-pay systems and the role they play in an overall B2B payments strategy. In the payments world, where “one size does not fit all,” the NAPCP believes it’s crucial to offer education on evaluating Commercial Card and epayment options and making the optimal mix for efficiency gains and cost savings. This year’s event, scheduled for April 16-19, 2012, at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia, offers sessions and facilitated open discussions on these topics. Speakers from Linde North America, the American Heart Association (AHA) and others will be on hand to discuss electronic payments implementation. The AHA has a unique tale to tell: an “accounts payable balancing act” that involves two programs and two providers.
