Marina del Rey, California (PRWEB) February 07, 2012 The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is seeking volunteers who will help in the evaluation of those organizations seeking financial support to apply for a new generic Top-Level Domain (gTLD).
“These volunteers will be key to ICANN’s effort to assure that the less-developed parts of the world are able to participate in the new Domain name program,” said Kurt Pritz, Senior Vice President. “The panel members will make a real impact in ensuring that the opportunities for innovation and economic development made by the Internet are open to everyone.”
The volunteers will be chosen for their background and experience in areas such as running a small business, operating in developing economies, analyzing business plans, serving in the public interest, managing a domain name registry service, or awarding grants.
The financial help component of the Applicant Support Program offers a limited number of qualifying applicants the opportunity to pay a reduced evaluation fee of $ 47,000 instead of the full evaluation fee of $ 185,000.
The selected volunteers will help in the evaluation of financial support applicants in the context of established public interest, financial capabilities and financial need criteria as outlined in the “Financial Help Handbook.”

if i want to start a recycling business, say like recycling cans and beer bottles, i can buy them from people, but then who should i sell to? who is my client? can some one get me a hint? tried to search online but find nothing.

In response to what all of your are saying, and it looks like none of you know what your talking about, i own a recycling company and a lot of work for GOV, yes you can make 6-7 figures in this business but having the connections, logistics, buyers, sellers, employees is just the tip of the iceburg and yes to make huge money you need around 50-200k to invest, i really broker for people through my company want to talk more about it call me 318-517-0364 Tracy Bennett DBA Blackwood Services LLC

Not right. I know that from personal experience that a lot of guys have gotten excellent deals out there from the GOV. And that may be because their competition often thinks that there are only millionaires with million dollar bids. Therefore the competition doesn’t bother to participate and that works out fantastic for those who do.

I reckon it all depends on who you question. To some people $1000 – $4000 is a lot of money. To others it’s an investment. Believe it or not I have seen some Government Auctions online for scrap metal end pretty cheaply. I guess at that time no one was looking out for the scrap and the winning bidder got it. Don’t forget that some agencies want to get rid of this stuff. They just want it off their lot. To them it’s all garbage and some might have even been willing to pay to get rid of it
