A fantastic excerpt from the D5 conference with Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Steve Jobs shares his advice or "secret" to make successful companies Video Rating: 4 / 5

Athens, GA (PRWEB) December 12, 2011

Power Partners, Inc. (http://www.powerpartners-usa.com) announced today that Luke Faulstick will be the new co-owner, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective February 6, 2012. Faulstick will be partnering with Steve Hollis, who has served as President and CEO of Power Partners since 2003 and will become Chairman of the company and Executive Vice President for Development.

Hollis and the late Dr. Sherrie Ford, who died in April of this year, bought a manufacturing plant from ABB in 2003 that is now known as Power Partners. Hollis and Ford first met Faulstick when he developed a reputation for catalyzing team-building and quality management successes as plant manager for a Mitsubishi Consumer Electronics two-plant site in Braselton, GA, in the mid-1990s, and he has served as an advisor to Hollis and Ford since 2003.

Faulstick comes to Power Partners from DJO Global, a leading global provider of high-quality orthopedic devices used for rehabilitation, pain management and physical therapy, where he has been Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since 2008. He joined DJO in 2001, and before that, he worked at Tyco Healthcare, Mitsubishi Consumer Electronics and the Eastman Kodak Company. While at DJO Global, Luke helped grow the company ten-fold and built DJO into a six location, global enterprise. Faulstick’s global operations teams and manufacturing plants have won numerous awards, including the Shingo Prize for operational excellence in 2005, 2008, and 2011; Industry Week’s Best Plants in 2005 and 2007; and the Association of Manufacturing Excellence Operational Excellence Award in 2010 and 2011. The Best Places to Work Institute selected DJO’s 2000-employee plant in Mexico as the best place to work in all of Mexico in 2010 and second on its Best Places to Work list in 2011.

Faulstick received a B.S. in engineering from Michigan State University and an M.S. in engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Association of Manufacturing Excellence from 2009 to 2011 and is a Certified Board of Director through the UCLA Anderson School of Business.

“We are delighted that Luke is joining the Power Partners team,” Steve Hollis said. “His talent, drive and ability to make believers of employee teams have turned a number of organizations into world class lean enterprises. Power Partners has long benefited from his advice, and with him now becoming a co-owner and partner, his impact will be even greater.”

With Faulstick on board, much of Hollis’ focus will be on the growth of Power Partners’ existing business lines, the customer relationships that drive these lines, and the development of new markets, work culture and people.

    Steve Jobs secret to what “he” defines as world success is illuminati.(don’t bother looking in the encyclopedia for that word, they took it out) It’s garbage because you lose your soul and what is of most importance?..It’s your soul.It’s not money, power or whatever you mark as success.Life is small.Flesh rots away on this earth.Your soul goes to either heaven or hell when you die. Jesus is the only way to eternal life.Read John 14:6.

    @Innovater6 yup…most rich people work so much, they don’t spend time on anything but WORK. that’s the way it is…capitalistic competition requires the competitors to always try to attack and counter attack. there’s no rest. that’s why you have to be passionate about what you are doing or else you are going to just crash and burn out.

    I said he’s not “greedy” like a HUGE BANK CEO. It doesn’t matter…Jobs could’ve had EVEN MORE if he wanted to. Didn’t he work for a $1 during his last few years? Jobs did charge a lot of his products, but his personal wealth, his HOME, looks pretty modest for a billionaire.

    @dalecampbl9

    …. Jobs had a net worth of over 8 billion bucks and you say that’s NOT greedy ????? Reckon about it, EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS !! He charged exorbitant prices for his products and accessories.

    Thanks for the laugh, rolling my eyes.

    @cheeriosinabowl i wouldn’t say he’s “greedy” like a HUGE BANK CEO. I reckon JOBs was competitive and he was going to make his company profitable by making the best products. I reckon there’s a huge difference between his ‘competitiveness’ which may be measured by financial success than from the greed of Wall St. This is why people don’t protest at Steve Jobs house.

    @888peanut888

    …. I never said he was a genius or not. Of course, the guy was very smart, sharp, resourseful, etc. But he was very well compensated (financially) for his “genius”. ALL Apple products and their countless accessories sold in their stores and website are very expensive, he never gave the customer a break financially. The customer paid thru the nose for Apple productsa and accessories. That’ what ticked me off about Jobs.

    @cheeriosinabowl no…. the man was a genius. they kicked him out of apple and he went of and formed 2 new billion doller companies. one was pixar which made toy tale. walt disney bought pixar. he is now walt disneys greatest share holder. he also made NeXt. a company bought by apple and their technology was used to make the OS opperating system. when they kicked him out he showed the company how clever he is and they straight away hired him again. steve job is pure genius

    Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.

    A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge vital differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.

    Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have successfuly framed themselves as noble victims; it’s an effective way to push a social agenda.
